Your Experts

Barbara Stewart, CFA

Barbara is a keynote speaker for CFA Societies, banks and stock exchanges around the world, and conducts interview driven research for financial institutions in Canada and globally. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst with 30 years of investment industry experience; five years as a foreign currency trader and then more than two decades as a portfolio manager investing on behalf of high net worth entrepreneurs. 12 years ago Barbara saw a need to challenge outdated financial industry stereotypes and share positive messages about women and money. Today, Barbara is recognized worldwide as one of the leading researchers in women and finance. Her Rich Thinking® global research papers quote smart women from all ages, professions and countries and are released annually on International Women’s Day, March 8.  Barbara is a columnist for CFA Institute, Canadian Money Saver, and Golden Girl Finance. She is also on the Advisory Board of Kensington Capital Partners in Toronto.

Alexandra Morris

Alexandra Morris has been CIO at SKAGEN Funds since September 2016 and leads a 24 -person strong investment team. She has over 20 years’ experience within the investment industry from all sides of the investment table – as portfolio manager, broker, investor relations director as well as investment director. She previously worked at DNB Asset Management where she was CIO. From 2004-2015, she was senior portfolio manager of two of Odin’s European mutual funds.  Alexandra has served on several boards, including Nordic Nanovector, a listed biotech company and as chairman of the nomination committee of Kongsberg Gruppen, a large defence company.

 

Alexandra Voss, CFA

Alexandra Voss is Senior Manager Selector at SEB and sits on the Board of CFA Society Sweden since September 2022. Previously she worked as Chief Client Officer & Deputy CEO, Partner at Nyhavn Capital in Stockholm. She moved to Sweden in 2019 when she joined macro hedge fund IPM as Director, Investment Strategy. Alexandra started her career in New York when she worked for New Holland Capital and BMO Capital Markets among others. She holds a BA in Economics at Columbia University and Barnard College.

 

David Seekell

David Seekell Head of Sustainable Investing and ESG at Stockholm-based boutique asset management platform Atle. Prior to moving to Stockholm, David was an Assistant Professor of Ecology in the Department of Ecology and Environmental Science at Umeå University in Sweden. His research has focused on developing early warning indicators of ecosystem tipping points. He also conducts research on global-scale patterns in lake ecology. David initially moved to Sweden in 2016 as Senior Researcher at the Climate Impacts Research Centre in Abisko. Previously he conducted research at the University of Virginia, where he completed his PhD in Environmental Sciences.

 

Wava Bodin

Wava Bodin is the Founder & CEO of fund information platform Fundrella which she set up in 2019. Prior to starting the company, she worked for BlackRock in Stockholm as Vice President focused on Nordic Retail after having spent almost four years in Sales at Fidelity International. Wava holds both a BSc and MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Hanken School of Economics in Finland.

Julia Roording

Julia Roording is Managing Director Head of Nordics and Benelux Distribution at AMG. She joined AMG in April 2022 to lead the Northern European Distribution team and its client engagements in the region. Prior to joining AMG, Julia worked at Ninety One, ABN Amro, BNP Paribas Fortis and Wallich & Matthes in similar roles having faced Nordic and Benelux clients over the past 18 years+. Julia obtained a Master’s in Economics from Jönköping International Business School, Sweden. In addition to being a native Swedish speaker, Julia speaks English, Dutch and Spanish fluently. Julia is involved in the board of KvinnoKapital – where women in asset management meet in the Nordics.
