Membership

CFA Society Sweden is designated by CFA Institute as the local Swedish membership society and membership in CFA Society Sweden is the natural choice, following from membership in CFA Institute. In addition, candidates to the CFA programme and other programs offered by CFA Institute can become candidate members. Local memership is available for those who have passed relevant educational programs proposed by CFA Institute and/or have acquired the relevant professional experience but do not wish to join CFA Institute as a member.

Why join?

Support our vision

By joining CFA Society Sweden you support our Vision to become the leading organization in setting and maintaining the highest Ethical and Professional standards in the Swedish investment community.

A mark of integrity

As a Member Society of CFA Institute it is our Mission to promote the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct in Sweden. Since we require all our members to sign a yearly Members Agreement & Professional Conduct Statement, membership in CFA Society Sweden is in itself a mark of integrity.

Continued learning

CFA Society Sweden offers seminars on topics relevant to investment professionals, with focus on financial theory & "tools of the trade", rather than company presentations.

Regular and Affiliate Members also have access to CFA Institute Conferences Worldwide and Publications such as Financial Analysts Journal and CFA Magazine.

Networking

Through CFA Society Sweden’s seminars, courses and (not least) social events such as regular Pubs and the annual Charter Award Ceremony you will meet other experienced professionals from all walks of the investment industry. The forum is collegial rather than competitive in nature, related but parallel to your professional agenda — a perfect environment for networking.

Candidate Support

One of CFA Society Sweden's top priorities is to provide support for our CFA Program Candidates. Our efforts in this area feature providing Society Scholarships, lending curriculum books through the CFA Society Sweden Library, holding Trial Exams ahead of the actual exam date, facilitating the formation of Study Groups and providing Review Courses.

Volunteer opportunities

CFA Society Sweden is a not-for-profit organization where most work is done on a volunteer basis through our different committees. As a member of CFA Society Sweden you have the opportunity to distinguish yourself by serving on one of our committees. This work connects you to the CFA Institute international network, puts you in contact with renowned speakers, teachers and practitioners worldwide and gives you a platform to make a difference!
