CFA Society Sweden and Pareto Asset Management invite you to an exciting event on Swedish small caps performance.
Swedish small-cap stocks have proven to be among the most robust performers worldwide from 2005 to date, enduring numerous bull and bear market cycles. Swedish small caps have consistently beaten major benchmarks such as the Stockholm Stock Exchange index, the Nasdaq Composite, and the S&P 500 index.
This sustained outperformance is primarily attributable to their lasting profitability growth, specifically in terms of earnings per share (EPS). The Swedish small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector, as a whole, remains exceptionally resilient and continues to experience substantial growth. This phenomenon is not confined to Sweden alone; it has broader implications for the entire Nordic region, which shares similar economic dynamics.
